Hello,
I suspect that I am experiencing some theme compatibility problems.
I am using Supreme Directory theme with Divi Builder plugin, and what happens is that some Divi Builder contents lose their styling within GD pages while some GD shortcodes lose their styling within Divi Builder sections.
I have doubts about which GD Theme Compatibility Pack I should use (Directory_Starter, Directory_Starter_custom, Divi, Divi_custom or another) and where I can get the JSON code to paste and import in GD –> Theme Compatibility –> The Compatibility settings.
I look forward to your reply.
Thank you very much for your attention.
Best regards.

I have applied the CSS patch on your site. Let me know if it works for you or not.

Thank you very much for your reply.
After clearing all caches, I can not notice any change or improvement in the example URL:

I look forward to your news.
Thank you very much once again for your attention.

August 8, 2018 at 5:15 pm #441721Hi patrik,
However, I have just noticed substantial changes in GD pages (Search, Archive, Listing Detail).
Are you still testing?
I look forward to your news.
Thank you very much once again for your attention.
Best regards.
August 9, 2018 at 5:36 am #441785Hello,
The CSS is to force the grid view on the test page, which looks to be working now.
Other design on the test page will need to be arranged within Divi builder.
If there are other problems, please write back about each one and we will take a look.
August 9, 2018 at 6:00 am #441788Hi Alex,
Sorry, but I am very confused.
1) This grid view is far from looking ok.
2) In Appearance -> Customise -> Additional CSS code or in HD -> Design -> Scripts I can not find the new CCS code as per this support ticket mentioned by patrik:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/short-code-problem/
.et-db #et-boc .clearfix.geodir_category_list_view li.geodir-gridview {
display: inline-block !important;
vertical-align: top !important;
}
.geodir_category_list_view li.geodir-gridview .geodir-post-img .geodir_thumbnail{
background-repeat: no-repeat !important;
}3) As I said, GD pages (Search, Archive and Listing Detail) have lost most of their styling.
As of now, I have no other option than restoring a backup from yesterday before the changes.
Best regards.
August 9, 2018 at 6:40 am #441795Hi Jotomas,
The DIVI theme is overriding our plugin CSS which is causing the problems.
(1) and (3) are due to overriding plugin’s CSS by DIVI builder.
(2) I had added the CSS to style.css of supreme directory theme and not in the customizer. Which you have restored now.Regards,
PatrikAugust 9, 2018 at 7:06 am #441800Hi patrik,
Sorry, but I am still very confused.
I am using the Divi Builder plugin, not the Divi theme.
I can understand that the Divi Builder plugin causes problems but the fact is that, after restoring the site (that is, after removing the CSS that you added to style.css of Supreme Directory theme), GD pages returned to normal Supreme Directory theme styling.
Anyway, I am very grateful to you for trying to help. I will certainly consider switching to another builder as soon as possible (since I am aware of the criticism about Divi programming quality), but I will also try before if Divi support gives some solution.
In any case, my main initial question:
“I have doubts about which GD Theme Compatibility Pack I should use (Directory_Starter, Directory_Starter_custom, Divi, Divi_custom or another) and where I can get the JSON code to paste and import in GD –> Theme Compatibility –> The Compatibility settings.”
has not been responded and, therefore, I really do not understand the purpose of these GD settings.
Best regards.
August 9, 2018 at 7:17 am #441804Hi Jotomas,
DIVI builder is including its own style CSS and is loading after our theme and plugin’s CSS so it is overriding it. We can try to load our CSS after all the CSS but it seems you have either changed the admin and FTP credentials and that is why we can’t troubleshoot now. If you are going to use another builder just let us know if you face any issues and we are here to help you!

PatrikAugust 9, 2018 at 7:24 am #441808Hi patrik,
Thank you very much for your reply.
(Where has gone my previous comment to which I believe that you are replying?)
Using a new builder it is something that I have been considering since months ago but I am not going to do immediately.
I will post updated admin and FTP credentials as soon as I have finished some changes and made a new backup.
In any case, I would like to know the response to my main initial question:
“I have doubts about which GD Theme Compatibility Pack I should use (Directory_Starter, Directory_Starter_custom, Divi, Divi_custom or another) and where I can get the JSON code to paste and import in GD –> Theme Compatibility –> The Compatibility settings.”
Or these settings are not relevant anymore or in this case?
I look forward to your news.
Thank you very much once again for your attention.
Best regards.
