I believe the V1 was compatible with Avada Theme but am not sure if this also applies to V2.
As I am also looking at the Astra Theme as an alternative to Avada can you, or do you know if V2 will work with this theme?
I do appreciate that with 1000’s of themes it is not always possible to ensure compatibility or test them all but if you have any knowledge of the above that would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Make sure you use the latest versions of everything.

The key you are using is not authorised for your staging site, these are the errors you have:
Geocoding Service: This API project is not authorized to use this API. For more information on authentication and Google Maps JavaScript API services please see: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key

The next problem I have encountered is with importing places.
I have followed the instructions as best as possible as they are somewhat vague. I manually entered 3 places, exported them to the Libreoffice spreadsheet and re-uploaded them which appeared to work!
I then entered a couple of new places but was unclear from the instructions what actually needed to be included. I assumed the gd_place was required? I also added the post_category and default_category as there are no instructions as to whether one or the other of these or both should be included. I could then only add the address, city, country, telephone and email fields as I did not have other data. This uploaded but when I checked Places, after clicking Tools and Term Counts I found the Place was displayed, as was the Category, but no address, tel No or email. It displayed as Pending!
On opening the place to edit no category was registered, everything on the Place, apart from the Title(name), was blank. I then entered the data manually, and published but then found all the data was removed. I tried adding it again and Updated but with the same result, the data disappeared.
I had to delete the Place and add it manually for it to retain the information on the Place listing.
Since then I have tried a variety of different options, omitting, for example ,1120, as post_category and only including the options on the spreadsheet that I have data for and are the items needed to include on the Place record. Nothing works, unfortunately.
I have attached a screenshot of a spreadsheet for information. The top list are those exported and the one single entry at the base of the list is one attempted to import without success.
I am not clear, and the import instructions are not clear as to which or what columns need to be completed before import. For example “Publish” or “author” or “post_date” but I would not normally expect these items to be needed only those items to be actually recorded on the Place listing.
I did try only importing the needed data but the only difference was that it appeared as a draft, instead of pending but updating manually caused the same problem with the data being deleted when published.
Any advice welcome.
Thanks
June 16, 2019 at 7:01 pm #493270The required fields are the same ones you will see in the sheet when you
Add a new place
Fill in the required fields and save/submit
Export and view the data in the sheet. -
