I noticed that the thumbnail pictures of the listings is using the full-size picture. Even though the call is for geodir_thumbnail, the picture presented is just a scaled version of the full-size photo. I have set the thumbnail size in WordPress Media Settings to be 200×200 pixels, but this is not the size being used on the listing pages. (The image url shows to be “picture.jpg” instead of picture-200×200.jpg”)

My question is if this is done on purpose? To accommodate for the different grid views and to still have a good quality picture? Otherwise the purpose of using the thumbnail settings would be to speed up page load, which of course would be a good thing…

Or did I miss some settings I have to do to call the actual thumbnail size?

This is indeed done on purpose, to accommodate the different grid views and to load each image only once instead of a different image in the detail page, the listings page and on the map.
