I’m looking for some tips on plugins or advice on how to add in some customisable tools for the users of my website that interact both with the directory itself and externally to places like google calendar. I’m looking to help users manage their flow of activity around my directory with things like an itinerary manager, budget planner, checklists, shortlists etc.

These 2 sites have this kind of functionality in place:

    https://bridebook.co.uk
    https://travefy.com/

    Thanks!

Allowing vendors to add listings or claim them would be a good place to start, that can be done with the Pricing Manager Addon.

To have more diversity the Custom Post Type addon can make it possible to create different types of listings in different industries with different fields.

The Compare addon makes it easy for visitors to compare listings.

Those are some of the features you can find inside GD Premium addons available here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/category/addons/

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I get these features you’re mentioning but they’re not what I’m talking about.

Travefy allows users to create custom itineraries from a custom library of content, in this instance my directory, and to manually add or to import in external events. This can be used for planning a trip for example.

Bridebook has a number of tools that help people to put together their wedding. From budgeting, to guest list management and scheduling.

Is this something that could be done with Ninja forms maybe?

We offer the List Manager addon, which enables users to make lists of listings that can be private or public.

The Events Manager addon has a “Are you interested” widget for users to signal their interest in events.

Ninja Forms might help. For more advice you can try GD Experts here:
