    I have been looking for a way to have the Home section of my website to open up the the main map and not nave the top page with the full screen image. The full truck image (attached) was what I started with and then I modified the height below from 100 to 75 to shrink the white band across the second image attached. Is there a way to have the website open up to the map instead?

    .sd-homepage .featured-area, .sd-location .featured-area {
    height: 75vh;
    }

    One other issue if I may. The map seems extremely sensitive to the mouse scroll when zooming in and out. Is there anything that I can do to control the zoom rate?

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi there,

    I’ve just checked your Website http://truckers4hire.com/ and if you want to display the map on the top section of the homepage, I’d suggest that you remove the “Featured Area” completely using custom CSS. Then insert the search form and the “Popular Category” Widget below the home map widget.

    Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to adjust the mouse scroll sensitivity but you can switch “Off” mouse scroll in the map widget and let your users zoom in and out manually using the map controls.

    Thanks!

    Thank you, I did just as you said about the map and it worked perfectly.
    I Have tied to remove Sidebar Footer 4 and use only 1-3 and divide the width of the remaining three equally. Is there a way to do this? I have been unable to find any documentation on this.

    Thanks

    I think the only way is through custom css.

    Right now I see 4 widgets in your footer though.

    Let us know,

    Paolo,
    Thanks for your response. Yes, there are 4 there now but I wanted to remove the 4th one. It appears they occupy 25% Of the width not. I wanted to leave the first three and distribute them 33% each if that is possible. I have tried to various things but they have not worked yet.

    If you remove the 4th widget, we’ll provide the CSS to expand the other 3.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    please try this CSS:

    .col-lg-3 {
        width: 33%;
    }

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    Paolo,
    Yes, I had tried that. I used firebug and it will change it within the firebug environment however it does not when you include in css. I was puzzled by this and figured there must be something overriding it somewhere.

    Add it in the GD >> Design >> Scripts >> Custom CSS and if needed add the !important tag.

    .col-lg-3 {
        width: 33% !important;
    }

    Thanks
