    Hello,

I’m stuck at the moment getting the translated file working. Here is what I’ve done.

First, I watched the video a few times at: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/

Secondly, I used FTP to download my geodirectory-en_US.po file.

Third, I used Poedit to find the text I wanted to change and made the change. I saved the file in a new folder on desktop. The program also created the .mo file. I went back to FTP and uploaded to the following directory: plugins/geodirectory/languages/geodirectory-languages/geodirectory-en_US.po and geodirectory-en_US.mo (I also compiled a new .mo file and tried uploading that)

The file permissions are set at the default 755.

I refresh my site and am not seeing any changes.

I would greatly appreciate assistance. Thanks again for your time!

    Chris

Rofl, you must be getting tired of me asking for help then figuring out what the problem was. Well, just in case anyone else in the future runs into the issue; the reason why I was having the problem not having the text change over was because my directory path was missing the sub-folder “geodirectory” after language. I went ahead and created the subfolder at /wp-content/languages/geodirectory/, uploaded the .mo file and bam; it works.

    Glad I fixed it! 🙂
