Translation of theme come back to its original version

    Hi guys i dont know what happened i translated the file po file of starter theme. Im using Supreme theme .
    I asked you guys support the last time because i cant translate the “Write a Review” text in details page and other things. You guys telled me that i need to translate the po file of starter theme. I did that and it worked really good. But a few days ago it came back to english. The po file exists in starter theme and I have not changed anything.

    make sure the file is located in the right place. You can review the translation instructions here:

    You will need to use FTP to check if the file is in the right place. Let us know what you find.

    It should be like:

    
    
    
    /wp-content/languages/themes/directory-starter-en_US.mo
    /wp-content/languages/themes/supreme-directory-en_US.mo
    

    Both themes need to be translated. If the files are in the right place then they will not be overwritten when the theme is updated.

    Hello,

    I am unable to login to FTP to view the files, authentication failed.

    Please zip the translation files you are working with for all GD themes and plugins and attach them to a reply here and we will take a look.

    Hello,

    I was able to login with FTP.

    You have many files in /wp-content/languages

    These files should be moved into the /plugins/ or /themes/ subdirectories.

    Once that is sorted it should work.

    Guys is not working! To be more specific i translated my account menu, “write a review” and “claim” button in details page for me thats a very important translation.And it was working. I dont know what happen because i didnt change anything. I follow all of your recomendations but its not working. Guys i really need your help.

    Hello,

    The Write a Review string is missing from your Supreme Directory es MX po file.

    The string is present in the en US po file.

    You can try merging it (updating) the file to replace missing strings.
