two issues, please help

Firstly, I am not seeing /places/place

I only have one listing at present, it appears on the search results page but when you click through it doesn’t appear.

Second issue i am having is the homepage, I am sure that somewhere, I read or heard that the homepage should be set as “location” which I did but, I didn’t feel it was right.
I have reset the location page as location now but, I don’t know if that is cause for issue stated above. In the child theme, it says I should be using GD-Home as the homepage but there is no GD-Home ?

I updated your permalinks, please check now.

For v2, if you want a directory home page or front page you will need to make it as a regular WP Page:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/front/

For v2 location page cannot be set as the front page.
