May 13, 2014 at 5:25 pm #1937I’m experiencing the same challenge. I have a brand new, fresh install, and can’t get the map to load, nor is the directory place listing scrolling the photos in the slider, using the dummy data…
WP v3.9.1 (maintenance release May 8, 2014)
Plug-in v1.0.1the site is: http://eastvillagelondon.ca
should you want to see what is being rendered…
I’m even using a vanilla version of WP 2012 as the theme. I haven;t actually activated any of the other plugins as yet.
Thanks,
May 14, 2014 at 5:28 am #1979Hi Galih Kusumah,

May 14, 2014 at 5:29 am #1980Hi Bryan Naylor,
Sorry!! i am not sure which slider u are talking about?
Please advise ?
May 14, 2014 at 3:54 pm #2051So I did see the update this morning and things are now a lot better. Everything appears to be working as it should be in IE 10 and Chrome v34. Just not in Firefox 29.0.l.
In FF, the google map on the main page does load correctly for a second or 2 and then goes a light blue and presents a virtually blank map showing a high level view of Howland Island and Baker Island. Not too sure where that is, but it’s certainly not local 🙂
Then when you drill down to the Places listing, the map a the top of the places page does not render (the icon just spins) and as a consequence, the slider that usually sits below that shows the photos of the place does not render either. The tabs with the profile, photos etc. do render but the google map tab just shows as a sky blue color and is blank.
If you have the latest version of firefox, here is a URL you can check:
So this all now seems to be a compatibility issue with the most recent version of firefox right now, as IE 10 and chrome appear to be OK, now that I have updated the plugin
Thanks for your patience
~ Bryan

May 15, 2014 at 5:37 am #2118hi Bryan Naylor,
Do u have any cache plugin installed?
May 15, 2014 at 5:43 am #2120Hi,
Unfortunately u can not load a map in hidden div. You need to write extra line of code to achieve it. U can check, how i achieved it in hidden div of Map tab in listing detail page. Please adivse ?

May 15, 2014 at 7:17 am #2131Hi Vikas,
That’s nice. Thanks.
May 15, 2014 at 12:30 pm #2170Nope… no caching plugin installed as yet…
also, have another question… can I load the GD Home Page as a main menu option? I want to have a static home page as my site home page and then have the GD Home Page load, complete as a main menu option.
Thanks,
~ Bryan
May 15, 2014 at 2:27 pm #2185Hi,
Let me know ur site url please.
May 15, 2014 at 4:15 pm #2203http://eastvillagelondon.ca/ is the domain
I’m trying to use Themehorse theme as my home page and then load the GD home page off a menu item. That’s the main problem now, is understanding how I can accomplish that, as i just can;t seem to find an option for it, or if thee is a specific URL to make the happen…
Other than that, the photos and maps don’t want to seem to render correctly in firefox. Please see:
as an example
Thanks….

May 20, 2014 at 10:32 am #2607Good morning Vikas,
Thanks for your reply on this, I apologize for not getting back sooner, but we were away over the weekend…
I have installed the update and the problem with the images on the places page, continues to persist in Firefox.
the arrows at the top of the listing continue to just spin.
Thanks
