    Hello,

I copied my site to a development environment and installed the core plugin. After I activate it, it redirects me to the homepage. If I try to go to the Dashboard or any admin page, it simply just refreshes the homepage. I tried deactivating every other plugin and it still happens. I don’t think it is my theme because a few weeks ago I duplicated the site and installed it and this did not happen, however, I needed to re-create the site and start fresh because of other problems and new some changes on the production site (new content, plugin updates, CSS changes, other minor things, maybe a WordPress update). I can send you the wordpress login in a private reply. However Geodirectory is disabled. If you login and activate it, you won’t be able to get back into the Plugins or any admin page. Thank you.

    Hello,

GD has an option to restrict users with certain roles from entering wp-admin.

Have you by chance added the admin role, there, to that setting?
Or, perhaps you are using a role manager addon, and the admin users are assigned 2 roles like administrator and subscriber.

Thanks for the fast reply. But I disabled every plugin and Activated only Geodirectory and it still will not allow me to access the admin pages. Also I checked the User Role Editor and there is no capability to limit the Admin or change the capabilities so I don’t see how my Admin account could have other roles assigned to it.

If you are using the User Role Editor then it makes it possible to assign the subscriber role to admins.

Please share site credentials and we will fix that up for you.

I’m not able to login to FTP

What needs be done is to disable GD via FTP

You should then be able to login

I recommend you then create a new admin user and disable or reset changes you made with the User Role Editor plugin.

A fresh admin should be able to login with GD enabled.

Once GD is enabled try visiting the settings and removing the “Subscriber” role from the Restrict WP Admin setting shown here:
