Unable to activate add on plugin for GeoDirectory V2.

    Trying to activate GeoDirectory custom posts type, I keep getting the following error.

    “There was an issue determining where GeoDirectory Plugin is installed and activated. Please install or activate GeoDirectory Plugin.”

    I’ve deactivated, deleted, downloaded GeoDirectory v2 again, and installed again from the zip file, (rather than wordpress plugins) – i still get the same error. Not sure if i’m missing something in setup.

    Hi Donna,

    Are you installing Custom Post Types V2? Make sure you grab the zip with the v2+ version number from /your-account/ on this site.

    If that isn’t it, try re-installing again, but, be sure to de-activate all GD Addons before you deactivate GeoDirectory core. Then deactivate GD core and install again.

    If the problem persist, please write back with WP Admin credentials AND FTP in a private reply so we can find a solution for you.

    Hello,

    You had the V1 copy. I added the V2 and it installed fine.

    Please try activating and let us know if there are any more issues.

    can you send me the link to the V2 copy of the custom post types then? i honestly thought that’s what i had downloaded —
    (or were you referring to the V2 copy of GeoDirectory???)
    either way – can you point me to the download links for both?

    They are available in your account on this site. V2 addons have a 2 in the filename link.
