Dear support team,

I’ve created a new development clone from my live site to test the site before doing the planned changes of:
– upgrade GD payment manager from v.1.4.4 to current 2.5.3
– install invoicing plugin
– downgrade customized child them to original child theme

The clone site has now the plugins installed, prices are merged and I also have installed the child theme new
– GeoDirectory_framework
– GDF_child

but still I am unable to add listings.

Steps done:
1. add listing via URL > https://dev.worldcheckin.com/add-listing/?ref=10&listing_type=gd_event&package_id=163&campaign=testing_featured
2. pre-view is working proper so far
3. After clicking “proceed to checkout” then it forward to main page instead of added listing

Hello,

Do you have done any customization work for GeoDirectory functionality? If you have done customization then try without customization.

Provide us database credentials, we need to look database structure for GeoDirectory tables.

Hi Kiran & Alex,

thanks for your help to find out and solve the problem.

The reason for its customization was to create invoices and have been done before your invoicing addon has been developed and NOT at core geodirectory itself.

The changes itself has been done from a hired developer at
– old GD payment manager v.1.4.4
– within GD child theme functions.php
– within database added some specific entries
– at the add listings page approach
– also an addons to be found in /mu-plugins

As I now have updated gd core plugin and installed payment manager as well with the GD chield theme new,
– GeoDirectory_framework
– GDF_child
I am not sure why it is not working any more.

I will post the DB credentials in next post.

about 1) PHP Settion issue
the server admins have now activated the following and I hope this will solve the missing PHP session issue.

We have added the session.save_path in custom php.ini of all the subdomains under the account worldcheckin. Please have look at the screenshot as well as the proof below and feel free to update us back if you need any further assistance.

Please let me know if that has been made right and let me know it I am now in need to change the wpconfig.php back to original?

about 2) AffiliateWP GeoDirectory Extended plugin
I have submitted the info to that developer and hope they will solve this also soon, as your original geodir_affiliatewp does not support recurring payments for affiliates.

Steps I’ve done before adding a new listing
– commented out your changes in wp-config
– activated your geodir-affiliate plugin
– opened a private browser window to make sure that the affiliatewp will collect the data properly
