I was under the impression that I would be able to edit pages with my drag and drop editor. I was using fusion builder and fusion core but every time I attempt to use them I get a message that “the site is experiencing technical difficulties.” I don’t have a problem editing with Html but I’m not sure exactly how to do this with shortcodes.
August 19, 2019 at 11:59 am #503668Template pages cannot be viewed directly from the frontend but you can edit them from a backend editor including fusion builder.
In the backend edit screen you should see the options to add widgets or shortcodes.
August 19, 2019 at 3:33 pm #503723Alex, I reactivated both Fusion Core and Fusion Builder, then went to the register page and previewed the page and was presented this message.
“The site is experiencing technical difficulties.”
When I deactivate the Fusion plugins I don’t see this message.
I’ve attached a screenshot.
It may be because I’m logged in already. I went to another browser and could see the register page fine. So, I’m not really sure how to do this. How can I edit the page and preview it without being logged-in? Must be a bug.
August 19, 2019 at 6:33 pm #503750Go to the WP Backend
Click Pages
Find the page and click ‘edit’It is not possible to preview or view GD Templates directly.
However, as soon as you make your changes toa page template like the Archive page you can see the changes. For the archive template, you can visit the appropriate page, like the places archive /places/ and see the changes. When you mention the “register” page, GD doesn’t have a register page. Which plugin is creating that page?
August 20, 2019 at 4:23 pm #503993I purchased the Listimia theme.
Now, with that question, you have me concerned. I was under the impression that Listimia works in concert with GeoDirectory. And, this assumption led me to believe that the moderators here on GeoDirectory support would have a vast knowledge of the Listimia theme. Is this not the case?
August 20, 2019 at 10:06 pm #504039Alex, on the Home Page there is a background of a tow truck with the title “Get Your Business Listed.” With the Fusion Core and Fusion Builder Plugins activated the button does not display. Currently, both plugins are deactivated. Can you help?
August 21, 2019 at 10:21 pm #504257Hello,
Please share WP Admin credentials in a private reply and we can look into the issue with the button and see if that is a GD conflict.
Thanks

Listima has a full page template for the front page and there isn’t anywhere to edit with the builder. If you wanted to make a custom page with all your own layout you could edit that with a builder, but with Listima, the Home page template completely takes over the front page.
The Register page will always redirect logged in users. It must be reviewed by a logged out user. You can do that in Chrome with ctrl-shift-n for incognito mode. Just disable the coming soon plugin temporarily so you can do that.
Those pages are special, other pages shouldn’t give you any trouble.
I added some CSS for the row with the button. This is a conflict between Fusion builder and the slider used in the home page row. You can report this conflict to the theme authors.
