Sorry to bother you guys. Today we were able to update the GD core to 1.6.5. Then proceeded to attempt to update Advanced Search, Custom Post Type, Location Manager and Payment Manager add-ons, updates fail.
Trying to update individually or as a group from the plugins page, we get an error of “Update Failed: Download failed. Unauthorized.” If we use Dashboard > Updates we get the error of “An error occurred while updating GeoDirectory Payment Manager: Download failed. Unauthorized.”
Our licensing seems to be up to date and all license keys are entered properly. I’m sure we’re doing something wrong but can’t figure out what it is. Any suggestions appreciated.
August 20, 2016 at 6:06 am #250162Hi Ray,
I’ll ask Stiofan to check on the license keys, but he’ll be back on Monday morning. Thanks ahead of time for your patience!
Thanks!
August 20, 2016 at 6:08 am #250163Could you try deactivating and activating the license key and see if it works?
August 20, 2016 at 11:11 pm #250517Just tried. No luck. Deactivated each, went back to Profile area and copied/pasted individually then reactivated. Same error message when trying to update. I wonder if it has something to do with multiple memberships showing? Current in profile is 4 months, active until October 25, previous was 12 months. License keys for both memberships look to be the same. Had tried to renew but didn’t allow, so we purchased new. Have updated since then though, so not sure if that’s the problem, just thought I’d mention it.
No hurry, non-updated add-ons seem to be working fine for now. Thanks!
August 22, 2016 at 11:15 am #251060Hi Ray,
If you change the length of the membership then the keys will change, please make sure you are using the right ones.
Thanks,
Stiofan
August 22, 2016 at 8:02 pm #251321Already checked that. Membership keys for our initial 12-month subscription and subsequent 4-month “renewal” are the same. They are all listed on our account’s “Download” page, in two different sections. Please advise. Thanks!

In the 1st case you need to download the zip 1st and unzip it on your desktop before overwriting the outdated files in each plugin folder.
With the secon,d you install the zip files like if you were uploading a new plugin, but you select the option to upgrade the existing plugin.
Let us know how you went,
Thanks
