    Dear support team,

I am unable to upgrade core geodirectory to latest version, because google map does not work anymore.

This problem is related to the gd booster problem (when activated then google map is not working proper any more but works together proper with older geodirectory version) stated within this thread.

Please help and find a fast solution to be able to upgrade to latest geodirectory version AND to use GD booster together again.

    BR, Alex

This problem is related to your server setting as my last reply there told you, it is still not resolved, please dont open new topics about the same problem.

    Hi Stiofan,

I just opened this because not getting a response on the still open thread.

OK – you can now close this thread

GD Booster will not work if the document root does not match the actual file locations, you have WP in a sub-sub folder with a htaccess redirect back two levels (for some reason), GB Booster will not work in this situation and it is not working on your server currently,

GD Booster had a problems finding /home/worldcheckin/public_html/wci/wp-content/plugins/wysija-newsletters/css/validationEngine.jquery.css

It’s just your luck that the site actual renders properly with the old ver of GD as it’s not working as it should.

I suggest you find another solution that will work with your setup.

    Hi Stiofan,

thanks for those information’s stated to come closer for solvings.

Q1. If GD booster is not finding “home/worldcheckin/public_html/wci/wp-content/plugins/wysija-newsletters/css/validationEngine.jquery.css” Will it help to not use this specific plugin?

Q2. As GD booster formerly worked proper and did not changed prior setup.
Why does the problem now occur?

Q3. What another solution do you suggest?
    a. Other cache plugin (have tried your suggestions which has not worked too) or
    b. other document root structure

Q4. What would you do to ensure proper & stabile usage of multisite, multilingual (WPML) & buddypress installation even in future gd developments in mind?

Q1. no, it’s not finding any files on your server.

Q2. Perhaps it’s never worked properly or maybe it was since you moved it to a sub sub directory.

Q3. WP Super cache, or move your site to a normal install, why do you have it in a sub sub folder install?

    Q4. Not having 87 active plugins…

    Hi Stiofan,

good news, after now re-install (used the information “giving wp its onw directory to point to sub-folder” and reversed back) the sub-folder structure to plain version.
    > The gd-booster with core geodirectory is working now proper again.

So thanks again to make clear where the point was and that we now finally solved the issue.
