unique post id for csv imports

I need to import csv files for property listings and want to use as the post-id the alphanumeric property identifier as provided from various estate agents. I have added post_id to the csv file but the id is not being picked up when i carry out the import.

Hi,

the post_ID is assigned by the application, you can’t force it on import. What you could do though, is to change the ID in the database after they listings have been imported. However that could really be a lot of tedious work…
