November 6, 2014 at 3:29 pm #20819Hi Guys,
I have just created 2 new CPT’s, changed the menu to accommodate them and my Fusion Slider, footer and WordPress menu bar has disappeared on the homepage.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Try disabling the share location add. It seems like it’s creating a js conflict.
That addon will have to be rewritten very soon.
Let us know.
Thx
November 6, 2014 at 7:37 pm #20850I actually tried disabling all addons before I posted and there was no change.
Any other ideas?
Many thanks for this one 🙂
November 6, 2014 at 7:41 pm #20851could you please provide wp admin credentials?
There is definitely a conflict with another plugin or a wrong setting.

I noticed you didn’t have categories for the 2 listings, but that didn’t fix.
I think there is a php error, because the home page doesn’t load completely.
Do you have an error log in your ftp?
Could you provide ftp credentials?
Thx

removing the 1st widget in your home content section (which was calling Places that you are not using and had no categories) solved the problem.
Thx
November 10, 2014 at 7:53 pm #21112Hi Paolo,
Thank you!
However, I can see now that the slider and content on the homepage is no longer full width, although it is selected ‘Wide’ in the theme settings, and there is a strip below the main menu which states ‘Blog’, which wasn’t there before.
Any ideas?
Thanks again,
NicolaNovember 10, 2014 at 8:05 pm #21114Hi,
you have this css rule that forces it to 1100px
#header-sticky .avada-row, #header .avada-row, #main .avada-row, .footer-area .avada-row, #slidingbar-area .avada-row, #footer .avada-row, .page-title, .header-social .avada-row, #small-nav .avada-row, .tfs-slider .slide-content-container .slide-content { max-width: 1100px; }Nothing to do with GD though.
Thx
November 10, 2014 at 8:27 pm #21116Ok fair enough that it is not a GD issue, however these elements were not there before updating to the new version of the Avada child theme….
If I set the site width to 100% it forces the header, main nav, main content and footer, which means that somewhere along the line something has got lost.
And then there is the case of the ‘Blog’ strip, where has that come from?
I have taken two screenshots, one before the update and one after, and the site width is set to 1100px on both counts.
Thanks again,
Nicola -
