Update listing via CSV while keeping description

Hi,

I’ve hundreds of Places already imported via CSV. I keep all the data in a Google Spreadsheet I update from time to time. I update Places data into this spreadsheet and later I export it to a csv file in order to re-import and update Places information back to wpgeodirectory.

The point is that I’d like to keep always the same Places description, and when I update Places via csv description gets blank… Is there any way to update all fields except the description?

I am guessing you are re-importing with a blank description.
If you re-import any new description will overwrite the existing one, just like any other field.
To prevent that make sure to export the current listings, make changes but not to the description, so when you re-import the new description matches the existing description.
