Upgrade to 1.3.5 - redirect to create advert not working

(think I might know why).

On my site if I click “create advert” I link to

http://www.childcarefinder.ie/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place

and I am taken to the “sign up or sign in screen” as normal… but when I do a signup I a redirected to the homepage instead of the the create advert page like it was…. and I really need my customers to be taken to the data entry part!

I think it might be possibly down to the fact that the URL is now getting a “redirect” appended to it as follows:

http://www.childcarefinder.ie/?geodir_signup=true&redirect_to=http://childcarefinder.ie/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place

but I notice the redirect is missing the “www” part and this might be causing an issue with the smooth redirecting…. perhaps?

Help REALLY appreciated.

This bug has been reported already and a fix will be in the next release.

OK this was my bad, i tested the new user registration redirect so much i forgot to test the normal user login, i have fixed this now and it will be in the next version.

to fix now u can edit geodirectory-functions/signup_function.php line 490
add just below the /////////////////////////
```
if(isset($_REQUEST['redirect_add_listing']) ){
				$_REQUEST['redirect_to'] = $_REQUEST['redirect_add_listing'];
			}
```

I tried your solution but am experiencing an issue with what seems to be the URL encoding.

1. non-logged in user: click ‘Add Place’ on http://www.qurbee.com

2. user will be taken to the signup page (redirect part of the url has a lot of escaped characters)
http://www.qurbee.com/?geodir_signup=true&redirect_add_listing=http%3A%2F%2Fqurbee.com%2Fadd-listing%2F%3Flisting_type%3Dgd_place

3. after signing up, the redirect takes the user back to the home page of my site (I’ve noticed there’s a 302 response code error)

NOTE: I’ve removed the escaped characters and paste this url into my browser. With this url, the user is correctly taken to the add listing page after signing up. Any idea what’s going on?
