Upgrade to v2, Default Category Icons not showing on map

    Followed all instructions to upgrade to v2.

    When upgraded and selected place category 2019 no icons appear on map.

    I have changed map icon and still not appearing. I have changed place category and back again and still not appearing.

    So say I have the following place categories 2019 2018 2017 2016 and a place appears in all categories. My map is set to show 2019 only. Where a place is in 2019 and the default is 2019 it does not appear on the map. If I add say 2018 and mark this is default category in addition to 2019 then the 2019 place appears on the map.

    So in short since the upgrade all places and categories appear on the map except default categories. Is there a general fix to this upgrade issue.

    I have read related problems but for some reason all solutions are marked as private which kind of negates taking the time to search and read.

    Any help appreciated, thanks.

    What type of field are you using to set the category in the forum?

    Select? – does not work for default category
    Checkbox? – first selected or override by editor
    Multiselect? – first selected or override by editor

    And you have highlighted the default using the ‘blue circle’ yes?
    And if you export the listing it shows the correct default category?

    The pin is 404. Try re-adding it to the library and the category.
