We took the leap after a previously failed attempt, and have upgraded one of our sites to v2.

As we learn, have managed to rebuild most of home page, however other pages are just hanging and provide no edit method ..

It looks like that page may be failing to load properly, you should check your error log and if you can’t see the reason from there then please post wp-admin and FTP details in a private reply and we will take a look.

I sussed this 🙂

wow and I paid a pro who couldn’t do it ..

Just needed to make new pages for each places / events / hire Im using elementor, what’s recommended?

It still looks like its not loading right, if u provide logins we can check that for u.

You can use most page builders.

Hi,

I have one more issue with this upgrade, the listings are not coming up with twitter facebook etc, main content is there but everything that used to be in the side bar isn’t instead it is showing the same content as is on the homepage sidebar.

Try adding the GD > Output location widget to the sidebar, it should default to only showing on the details page.

Tried that, it only added GET DIRECTIONS and TAGS to the side bar.

The items that show up with GD Output Location when set to the sidebar are the custom fields that have the “Show in extra output locations” set to sidebar. If you want to add more information, visit the fields and set for display in the sidebar.

If you need to show other widgets like GD Listings, then you can add those through the WP settings:

WP – Appearance – Widgets

Try it now. You had the output location widget set to display only on the listings page (archive) instead of the detail (single) page.

Many thanks for previous help,

we have noticed the search pages are only half loading then just hang, we have tried recreating the search pages but same issue.

Secondly, we are experiencing a lot of 500 errors, what is best way to locate the cause?
Previous admin log in is still valid.
