    Hi guys,

I tried uploading an image to an existing listing, and it failed without a notification. Then I tried using the Add Media dialog, and I got the attached error. Any idea what’s going on here?

    Thanks.

Can you post the details of the exact listing you tried to do this, URL will do.
Does the price package allow more images than you already have?
Did you try from the frontend or the backend?
Was the file size larger than the limit set at GD > general > general tab?

This is the exact listing: http://www.kjvchurches.com/churches/united-states/florida/perry/charity-baptist-church-3/

There are no images, so yes, the price package allows me to add an image.

I was uploading as admin from the backend.

No, it’s a small image, much smaller than the size limit.

    Hi,

this is definitely a folder permission problem. Try changing to 777 or 755 at least all of them recursively.

It is trying to add the image to november 2014 because that’s the date on which the listing as been originally created. That’s how wordpress works.

If you change uploads folder permission, you break your website.

    Thanks

I was having a major issue with permissions previously, as my VPS OS does something weird with ownership, but I haven’t had as much issue recently after following the directions in the tutorial for updates.

Thanks for explaining that to me; I didn’t realize that it would look for the folder for the post date.
