users adding incomplete url for links

    We are having two issues with the listing process:
    1. We have included fields for users to add urls linked to their facebook, twitter, and other social media accounts with instructions to include the full url in the field. In spite of the instructions, some users are not adding the urls correctly. When this happens, the user is not able to advance to the Preview screen when they click the Review Listing button. But there is no error message so they are not being prompted to fix the urls and have no idea why the site is not advancing to the review screen.
    2. The Preview Listing screen does not display a preview of the featured image. Is there a way to do that?

    Hello Josh,

    We are currently working on GeoDirectory v2. GeoDirectory v2 has some new advanced features implemented. It will be available in couple of days.

    The issue you mentioned will be fixed in GeoDirectory v2, because we have updated showing the listing preview.

    What about the other issue I raised: users are not able to tell if the failure of the listing to advance to the Review Listing screen is due to incomplete url. There is a popup notification but it disappears after some time. Is it possible for this error to function like other errors — can it appear in red rather than the popup notification.

    It shows feature image in the listing preview. In GeoDirectory it only changed the way of displaying preview of the listing.

    In GeoDirectory v2 it shows error at the bottom each relevant field.

    We recommend you to try GeoDirectory v2 on your test site to know more how it working.
