V1 to V2 problem

    I am trying to upgrade from GD 1.6.36 to the current version 2.0.0.70 following the instructions provided at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/upgrade-from-gdv1/

    As soon as I do the update, the site gives me the error ‘Site cannot be reached’ and I have to restore my backup.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Are you doing this on a staging site?

    Please share WP Admin and FTP credentials so we can take a look.

    Wait – I see that the site is down. Has anyone from GeoDirectory attempted the upgrade?
    Will get a backup restored.

    The site has been restored. It looks like the last time it was active was at 9:15 AM EDT today. It was no one here so I assume it was someone at support there.

    I don’t know why you can’t access. I appreciate your help but is there someone more local that can take over? I have a time constraint here and will have to rebuild the site using V2 if I can’t get this resolved today.
