V2- Geolocate and redirect on first time load

    Hi, im trying to find this setting as mentioned on one of the v1 forums : https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/search-filters-overview/#near

    Can you please guide me to this?

    Will this work only on loading the GD home page at http://www.domain.com, or any GD page?

    Also is there any way to automatically set geolocation if any GD page is opened – i know it can be done wihe near me button but im checking if possible without clicking a button?

    Hi Vivek,

    You can find this settings in GD > Settings > Location >
    Enable location search autocompleter? as shown in the attached image.

    Thanks, Kor. This did not achieve what i was looking for, i didnt need autocomplete, but an automatic redirect based on geolocation, as the earlier link had – i was referring to “REDIRECT SETTINGS ON FIRST TIME LOAD” just below the autocompleter- as also mentioned in my message

    Do please share your advice also on the other questions in my post.

    It has been changed in V2 into the options you find in the near search field or the change location feature.

    This requires a customization that goes beyond support.
