Verify Email Address

That’s how it works if you use Buddypress normally.

I just registered and without verifying my email I will not have access to the site, see image.

Until I activate my account by clicking on the link in the activation email, I cannot add a listing because I cannot log in.

There are no steps to enable email verification process, that’s how it works automatically if you use Buddypress.

Because I have not activated my email by clicking in the registration (aka verification) I cannot login yet – and therefore cannot add a listing yet.

Have you tried yourself with another email address? If you get a different outcome, post your WP admin details in a private reply and we will have a look at your settings.

GD registration doesn’t require verification.
To enable GD registration, turn off Buddypress registration at GD > Buddypress integration
