Video instead of Slider

On the following post https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/one-image-or-video-instead-of-slider/#post-66709 is given a good answer, but when implement the change to display the video it only shows the video USL not the player.

the code is as follows:

remove_action( 'geodir_details_main_content','geodir_action_details_slider',30);
add_action( 'geodir_details_main_content','my_geodir_action_details_slider',30);

function my_geodir_action_details_slider() {
global $post; echo $post->geodir_video;
} 

I believe there is a different code to use here. Kindly advice.
