It would be very useful to have a vouchers or coupons plugin on GD as monetization tool.
Is there any developer out there interested in the project?
A similar plugin for Geotheme was on sale for around 50$ and collected 170 sales.
If you are a GD user and you are interested please reply with +1
Thanks

June 25, 2014 at 5:25 pm #6156I’m acutally surprised that Jeff didn’t convert GT Vouchers yet to work with GD as he did for his other simpler plugins.
He must be busy working on other projects, but I wouldn’t see why it wouldn’t do it when possible.
June 25, 2014 at 9:44 pm #6188From themetailors GT vouchers:
“GT Vouchers is ONLY for GeoTheme. It will NOT work with WPGeoDirectory yet.”June 30, 2014 at 4:51 pm #6828Yup. Yet. It’s coming. I have had a lot of other projects and a few roadblocks with the Vouchers.
I would hope to have it done within the next couple of weeks.

July 11, 2014 at 5:15 am #8159Roger, if you or anyone would be interested in beta-testing the plugin for me, let me know and I can give you the current work.
It’s essentially a port of the original with good integration with GeoDirectory.
Obviously once it’s ready, I’ll put it up for sale, but I need a couple of testers first.

July 12, 2014 at 10:40 am #8268Hi Jeff,
What’s your ETA for the GD version?
July 12, 2014 at 5:04 pm #8293As mentioned above, I’m asking for a couple of people to test it.
It’s basically identical to the current version but handles integration with GeoDirectory. You can choose to show the coupon on a tab, it integrates with the new pricing system etc.
Contact me at jeff at-symbol jeffrose dot ca if you want to try it out. It is probably not 100% ready for a live site, although I don’t know of any specific problems.

I’ve forwarded the info via email.

July 25, 2014 at 7:22 pm #9987Hi Jeff,
I installed Vouchers on my site and here are some questions if I may ask:
1. How can I display all vouchers on a page? Will it also show if the deal or voucher has been updated? There’s a short code for single vouchers but I can’t find one for All Vouchers.
2. The selected voucher border is not working (dotted, dash, etc.). It only shows a solid line. Perhaps I missed something?
3. The show voucher in listing profile option works but the show voucher in profile tab option is not working. Perhaps another setting that I missed?
4. The selected default voucher template is not being implemented.
5. I tried allowing vouchers with the pricing system but it’s not working. Do I need to enter a license key?
I also emailed you some questions yesterday regarding “Hire/Require Email and Require Phone” options.
If you need access to my site, please let me know. Overall, Vouchers is a very good addon to GeoDirectory. I don’t mind paying for it.
Thank you so much for helping us enhance our GD sites. 🙂
July 26, 2014 at 4:01 am #10027I’ve replied to Manilaboy privately by email. Those issues were all resolved in the update after this message.
The testing is coming along well, with only a couple of minor issues remaining, and then I’ll put it into ThemeTailors.
