Hi,

I am currently working on a web development project. My client have purchased the Geodirectory plugin. Now, he only wants to provide Name, City, Telephone and some other basic things but don’t want the addresses to be added as in the excel file provided me don’t have the addresses. He wants his visitors so search by service & city But when i want to import the csv file it declines to add the listings as in the csv file the address field is blank. Any suggestion so that i can import all the listings without the addresses and let the users to search by service & city only?

Hi there,

You can “Select CPT to disable physical location” as shown in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/epup80 . But if you want to display your listings on a map, an address is required.

You can use any data in the street address field, for example add the business name.
It just cannot be blank.

I will “Select CPT to disable physical location” and try that soon.
If i use any data in the street address field, for example add the business name, can the visitors find the business by City only?

Do not select “Select CPT to disable physical location” unless you want to remove city and region and country too.
If you use any data in the street address field, the visitors will be able to filter by City, region or country.
