What are the plans for the GD version 2 updater release?

I have a live GD 1.6.30 site.

Are there plans for the final release of the V2 with auto updater using WP Easy Updates? Any timescales?

You will need to use the converter to go from V1 to V2, that is not possible just with WP Easy Updates.
