    When you say:

    Do you mean easier in terms of customisation, which most people seem to struggle, or just generally handling and understand the plugin interface better?

    That’s fantastic Guust. I very much look forward to reading the blog post and see what will be available soon. I may go with the beta if it will be considered as stable enough.

    Agree with ukvape, its by far the largest drawback at the moment as proficient HTML and CSS won’t suffice for material customisation – more than basic PHP skills are needed

    GD will have “blocks” in future but user friendly ones 😉

    Me too Stiofan hahaha, I left when eBay bought them.

    While your here is there a realistic timeframe of your blog posts as I have seen posts over the last month promising blog posts etc. Not being rude by the way I just want to make a decision whether to stick with you guys or not.

    I like the way you have built the geo directory from an seo point of view but lacking in the flexibility department. If I email can i test a copy of the beta for example to make a decision ? I will be using a directory as my main source of income in the future so will be in it for the long run and what i have “works” but I need to expand on it.

    The blog post is done, i just want Paolo to go over it before i publish it to see if he has anything to add. Its just a post about setting out the goals for v2, i’ll be blogging more about the features in the coming days.

    GDv2 is not in beta yet, we will announce when it is. Layout wise you will be able to have almost anything you want 🙂

    Have you got a realistic timeframe for the beta ? I know thats probably a stupid question but one can only hope 🙂 Is there anyway to take a peek at what you have so far ? I am really intrigued as having spent £5k with envato and others i have to say yours is the best for “directory functionality” and “seo”, but it’s just a “Magento” for us to customise lol
