Where is my Add Listings page?

    Am I meant to be able to see and edit the Add Listings page?

    If so, I am having the same issue I had with my homepage detailed here:

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/issue-with-locations-page/

    It is viewable in the back end but clicking on view page takes you to the homepage. I have done what Guust suggested to do with my homepage but unfortunately this time it hasn’t fixed it.

    Could this all be an underlying incompatibility with the Kleo WP Theme?

    Any advice, much appreciated.

    Hello, have you tried to run the GD Tools then?
    What if you go in the permalinks section(in GD)? Can you see the Add listing page in the dropdown?
    Please provide url and login details so we can have a look, thanks

    Thank you for replying Simone.

    Site is currently being built locally. It is at a nuisance stage in which there are over 600 post pages from previous client’s site which are needing to be whittled down before I can host it anywhere.

    I have run GD Tools. I have deleted the page and run it again too, fixing the issue upon the way. And yes it is visible in the Permalinks section so… all should be running smoothly and correct. Yet it isn’t.

    “Add Listing page exists with proper setting.
    Listing Preview page exists with proper setting.
    Listing Success page exists with proper setting.
    Location page exists with proper setting.”

    Unfortunately without seeing a live website …we can just guess. What if you try to create a new page, and assign it as “add listing” page in the permalinks?

    I understand and appreciate that.

    I deleted the page and then deleted it permanently from within the trash. Created a new page and titled it Add Listing. Viewed it and indeed it is a new page.

    Went to GD > Permalinks and updated it to this newly created page. Viewed it and it’s gone to the homepage.

    try manually going to /add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place

    That too is to no avail… /add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place just takes you back to homepage.

    can you try changing the slug for the add listing page to something else? have you disabled all the non-gd plugins?

    I have edited the slug and disabled all plug-ins but still nothing 🙁

    I would imagine it is.

    I will need to wait for client to pare down site so won’t be able to do this till next weekend. In the interim, if anyone has any further suggestions to Simone…

    Do not create a new page, but after deleting it, run GD tools to recreate it, then go to permalinks to make sure it is connected.

    Hi,

    I’ve seen several problems with Kleo Theme recently. I know they advertise their theme as fully compatible with GeoDirectory, but I’m not 100% sure they have updated compatibility in a long time.

    Looking forward to see it on a live server so that we can test.
