Hello, I setup a site to test V2 on using Extra theme by elegant themes. I’d love for this to evolve into a full production site… eventually… Anyways, here’s something I noticed:
The first listing I added via the admin, not the front end. I added images by dropping them into the sidebar of the add listing area where it says “Drop files to upload”. I noticed at one point after publishing this listing the images disappeared from that sidebar area. But, on the front end they are in the listing. However when I go to edit this listing from the front end I don’t see those images in the edit listing page (see attached images).
I added another listing, this time from the front end. It works fine in that when I add images I see them now when I edit it from the front end. However, on the edit page the logo image shows along with the listing images which seems counter intuitive (I was expecting to see the logo image on the edit page where you enter the logo image). This isn’t a big deal though. On the details page I see both the logo and listing image. https://visitshelby.com/attractions/test/
Then I figured I would try adding one from the admin area again. I added a logo and images. After publishing it I went to the front end and on the edit page only the listing image shows not the logo. The logo is there on the archive page. On the details page I do not see the logo I only see the listing image. https://visitshelby.com/attractions/testesr5e/
I don’t know if any of this matters. I’ll delete these 3 listings and start over. Actually, I’ll leave all this hear and let you guys play with it. You’re more than welcome to delete the listings and do whatever. I’m going to work on my other site for a while and check back later. All in all, I suppose it’s working fine now. I just wanted to share these observations…

Can you check this now please.
Thanks,

October 11, 2018 at 4:51 pm #449350right away i noticed the top listing “TESTESR5E” that has 2 images (a featured image and one listing image). You can see the featured image in the archives page (top/first listing). Then you click on it and the featured image is not in the listing anywhere. Then you edit that listing and the featured image is not there.
I really don’t have time to beta test this much. I can show you guys bugs and break it down, and that’s doing a lot for free. And, but then hopefully you guys can beta test your fixes? I’ll keep trying, it’s just asking a lot from me to test, report, and then test again, report again, etc… Again, thanks for working on this, I’ll try to keep testing.
October 11, 2018 at 4:52 pm #449351The next listing shows the featured listing everywhere.
October 11, 2018 at 4:55 pm #449352the third listing doesn’t show any of it’s images in the edit. For some reason the first image is also the last image.
October 11, 2018 at 4:57 pm #449353Should we be able to add listings via the admin as well as the front end?
Should I delete these listings and start over and test all this again (adding a featured image from admin, listing images from front end, vice versa, and then trying all via admin and all via front end?)?
October 11, 2018 at 4:58 pm #449355Because this is a test site you are more than welcome to add different listings and images in different ways to test what you’re doing.
October 11, 2018 at 6:19 pm #449376Hi Jeff,
I’m just finishing for the night, try adding a new listing to see if the problem still exists with new listings, if so post the url and i’ll check it in the morning.
Thanks,
Stiofan
October 12, 2018 at 5:35 am #449399I can do that. But do you think I should be able to via front end and back/admin end and still get the same result?
October 12, 2018 at 12:40 pm #449449Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your time on this, i found the problem.
It was a bit of a pain to recreate but i think this is how it was replicated:
Add a listing, add images (but don’t save the listing) this adds images that are not “approved” which is a feature we plan to implement later 😉
The edit listing string was exiting when it found a un-approved listing so it would not continue to add any more to the list. This should all now be fixed 🙂
Thanks,
Stiofan
