I was trying to simply change the name of the widgets for popular post category in the supreme theme. I got this error both when trying to change it for GD Home Top and GD Search Top Sections.

The error happens in both Google Chrome and Mozilla.

You do not have a “popular location” widget on the search page?
And the title change looks fine to me on the location pages, see image.
Your homepage is not a GD page so you must be adding widgets there a different way, possibly shortcodes?

I cannot recreate that, see image.

    Thanks

Sorry, that’s what I meant by search page, the locations page (sometimes GD uses those words interchangeably which makes it easy to confuse). It was/is working on the location page but not on the home because you’re correct, because of beaver builder, lol.

I was trying to compensate for the “Popular Location” not showing locations/cities that are empty of listings and therefore are not a “Popular Location”. And Popular location doesn’t seem to sort cities by the number of listings in that city either, another part of this feature missing and making it not “Popular”. I’m not really sure why it’s called “Popular”. So I wanted to change the title. Then I thought about changing the top half of the home and that’s where things got confusing prompting all of this.

The widget in the backend controls only the location. Beaver controls “The home” “bottom half” via the front end. All correct. But what changes the top half of home? When I tried to change that, like showing in one of the first images, I get an error. I guess those widget sections are not valid or something?

At this point I may or may not change the name. In case I want to, how do I? Is that a language/translation thing?

See my second image, I had no problem changing the title of the Popular Categories widget in the GD home section.
GD Home refers to all location pages, ie the start page for a location. GD Home does not refer to your website homepage.

Popular Location widget lists locations alphabetically. Which indeed is not the same as “popular”.

Could someone please make it so that the Popular Location widget is indeed sorted by popularity?

What is it you are trying to use as title?

Regarding the Popular Location widget, please do not discuss the same question in multiple topics.

    Thanks

At first I thought the Popular Category on the home page may not sort by categories with the most. So, I was going to change it to something like “Common Categories” but that didn’t seem accurate either. Then I looked at another CPT that had more listings and it appears it “may” sort by Popularity. So, if Popular Categories actually sorts by popularity then I may just leave it. But, I was trying “Common Categories” so if you want to test it common categories may be good to try… thanks!

Are you looking at the GD Home/Location pages like /location/united-states/ ?
