I couldn’t find a ‘suggestions’ area. I don’t think this widget exists but I could use a widget to show listing that have received the most visits over, say, the last 7 days, if it were available.

There is indeed no option for that, GD does not count page visits so it does not know which one has the most visits.
    Thanks

Would it be possible to log this as a feature request / recommendation?

Unfortunately this setting is not currently available, but is something that you can add relatively easily with some custom code.

What you would do would be to add a custom field to each listing, and then increment that field for each view. You would need to create some custom javascript for that.

Then create a sort for listings based on that field, descending so the listings with the highest value are listed first.

Then make a new GD Listings element with the shortcode builder and your custom sort will be available so you can show the most often viewed listings first.

I have made a note of your request and it is something we will consider adding to future versions. In the meantime, if you need help with implementing it, please contact a GD Expert here:
