For some reason I get wrong search results when I use Ipad or Iphone.
I search PLACES, and in search results get featured EVENTS on first 2-3 positions.
And if I just click search without typing anything I also get Blog in results. Although there is nothing there yet.

As I said this only happens when using ipad air2 or iphone 5s. however I didn’t tested it yet on other mobile devices.

    Is there any fix?
    Thank you.

    Hi,

we’ll need to have a look at your website for that.

Please share a link and possibly admin credentials in a private reply and we will have a look.

    Thanks

    Hi Roman,

it appears to me to be a caching problem rather than something related to desktop/mobile.

When logged in, search results seems to be fine in both mobile and desktop.

When logged out search is not working correctly in both mobile and desktop.

is there any server side caching that you know about? If yes, it should be disabled.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    Hi Paulo,
Yep, it works only for admin users, I can see it now. But for logged out users and other regular users it makes a mess.
There is no service side caching that I know of. Can it be the Boss theme I’m using?

    Hi,

I sincerly doubt the theme can be responsible for this.

I didn’t see any caching plugin on your website, so I guess it was server side (should be varnish).

What hosting provider are you with, can you ask them?

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    There is some drop-in plugin
    advanced-cache.php
I don’t know what is it, but maybe it’s the one that causing problems?

    I’m using inmotionhosting.com right now.
Regular ssd shared hosting I doubt they cache anything.

Inmotion hosting confirmed today that they don’t any server caching. Any other ideas why search doesn’t work properly?

    Hi Roman,

It seems to be a conflict with “BuddyPress Docs” if i disable that then it all works, please check and confirm.
