    Hi,
I could swear that somewhere I read a post that suggested adding woocommerce plugin on an install with GD might not be the best idea, but I cannot find it again.

    Any issues with this?

    Might slow the site down?

    Thanks!

    Hi forbes,

I’ve just consulted our developer and I’d like to clarify that there is no known issue between GD and Woocommerce. But please let us know if you encountered any issues.

    Thanks!

If you are planning a big site i would recommend a multisite install, one maybe in /shop/ and maybe the directory in the main site, this will speed things up for both sites, its what we do here, /support/ is actually its own multisite install, and also /docs/.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

Hi, and thank you. One more… how big is big? Would 1500-3000 entries be considered small? I do have a multi site set up, but there is a reason that it would be better for me to have woo installed on main site, so just checking :). Thanks again.

It depends on a few things like server spec, type of entries, the post meta data.
Unless you have a dedicated server i would still suggest a multisite.
