WordPress Posts as Places?

I’m looking at your plugin to replace geo functions on a number of current sites and we’ve been especially impressed with the features you offer. The directory, events, reviews and image submission allows us to replicate and improve on our functionality.

There’s one big stumbling block, and that is including posts in the geodirectory. We need this as the relevant posts are walking trails which need a custom template and the image upload for the directory, bypassing media directory cause some workflow issues for us (we know this is functionality, but we don’t want to have to reupload images for posts that already exist).

I’m wondering if you will be implementing post locations at some point?

How difficult is it to create an add in plugin for this functionality as I have a developer helping out. Happy to hack away at functions.php myself!

Or, Does the custom post plugin allow me to geolocate custom posts using my own custom templates? We can easily convert the relevant posts into custom posts.
