    Hello,

    I am considering how it may be advantageous to hide the WP folders and theme reference for many reasons, most notably security.

    I am curious what your thoughts are on this and specifically this plugin: https://www.wp-hide.com/

    Hello,

    There are a number of third party plugins to accomplish that, but we don’t recommend any in particular.

    Members may have used one in the past; will leave the thread open in case members want to share their experience.

    I am speaking with this particular plugin developer via email now to see if they would like to implement this for me so that I may take advantage of all it may have to offer. I’m wondering if anyone thinks it would interfere or improve GD in any way now or with future updates…

    Yesterday I had two new users. They seemed to have legit emails. I can’t discern however if they are.

    The subject line is:
    [email protected]; on behalf of; WordPress [[email protected]]

    The “from” has my email address. See attached.

    When a new user is created from the front end it does not look like this. These people must be coming from the wp-admin login screen.

    Does anyone have a suggestion on the best way to hide the login screen so when someone goes to wp-admin it does not go to that screen?

    Or, possibly even better, do you foresee and problem with using WP-Hide with “your” plugins?
