Hey guys, I’ve been through the documentation you provide in the codex and I’m still having trouble with translating add-ons.

I’ve downloaded the .mo and .po files for the ones i’m using, but let’s pick the Claim Manager as an example. I’ve put the en_US files and also fr_CA files in the location you specify, hoping to grab the french translations.

    Claim Listing /wp-content/languages/geodirclaim/geodirclaim-en_US.mo

When I run WPML and scan for translations, it’s not finding them and saying that all 100+ strings need translating. Any thoughts what I could be doing wrong?

As far as I know, all you have to do is adding the MO files as you describe. There is no need to “run WPML”, just switch languages in the frontend, should switch to the other language file.
