I’ve installed wpusers plug-in, and amended the register form slightly so to have company name, rather than 1st name, but can you advise how to get the field to be full width like the other fields?

On the default form, the 1st and last name fields are set to be half width beside each other, but as I want to ask for a company name (to be displayed on their listings) I dont need the surname field.

I tried removing the css class from the first name field to make it the same as the other registration fields (username / email address)

    uwp-half uwp-half-left

but no joy. It remains half width

Also, with the account links all being handled by userwp, when logged in, the default “my account” navigation, doesn’t take users to their profile anymore, and i’m not sure how to add the links to “account”, “profile” and “change password” to this dropdown menu.

    hope you can advise. Cheers

    Add this CSS:

    .uwp_page .uwp-registration-form div#uwp_account_first_name_row {width: 100%;}

Please post your WP admin details in a private reply so we can review your other questions.

PS: UsersWP questions should be asked at https://userswp.io/support/

    Thanks

Please share FTP so the developers can look at that issue of linking to the home page.

It is not possible at this time to add additional links to the my account tab through UsersWP but it is something we are looking at for future releases.

That link should be redirecting to the profile.

I don’t see any relevant settings in the redirection plugin, but, I am inclined to blame tha plugin. It could be interpreting the author page redirection by UsersWP as a 404 an so sending users to the home page.

Try disabling the redirection addon, then reload and try the link? It should point to profile/[user]/ not author/[user]/

This a set of features that work together between Supreme and UsersWP. There is an updated version of UsersWP coming very soon. You can also try updating to that when it comes out.

Let us know how it goes

thanks for looking into this for me. Unfortunately deactivating the plug in didn’t have any effect. i’ll keep looking into this, and look forward to the wpusers update.

Yeah, not sure where the author part of the url comes from.

thanks again for your time today
