wrong addresses, addresses not in google maps

Hi,

1. There are several places (listings) on our island that have addresses that google maps can’t identify.

Any ideas on how I can work around this? I do not want to create a separate (addressless) cpt for these listings, as they have addresses, just not ones that I can pinpoint on the map.

If I make custom maps for these areas, is there then a way for me to use them with GD?

2. Also, while trying to adjust the map location, I merged two cities that I ended up with in GD/multi location/manage location. It deleted the one I merged. If I go to a listing and try to adjust the address to show where the listing actually is (physically), it defaults to the city that was deleted, and then the deleted city shows again under GD/ML/ml… Our area is known under both city names, though for postal service, it only uses one! I thought that by merging, the area would default to the main one, and not give the option for the deleted one.

If I look elsewhere at maps (yelp and like sites), both city names are used depending on the source. Am I stuck with this confusion :)?
