Good day .. I have another slight issue happening since the update .. On my places/category pages ( https://www.cafanet.ca/places/category/melfort-1/ ) the first listing is showing up in the page par … as you can see BADINSKI, Tyler: B. Acc., CAFA® is up top .. and on all pages its the first listing that shows here .. is there a way without nulling out the display of this to get it to not show ? The simple fix would be display none .. but then on the click through there is no name on the next page …
Also .. any way to make the images container a tad taller .. the client is complaining that the tops of their heads are being cut off ( yah I know the client should have uploaded ALL of the pics in the same ratio 🙂 Just asking …
Cheers – and thank you B
April 9, 2019 at 8:06 pm #4796311) I’m not sure I understand the question. You are ordering by AZ and that’s the 1st result for that type of sort. If you don’t want it to show, you should change sorting or put that listing in draft status or even delete the listing. Let me understand better if you can…
2) Uploading a square image in a rectangle container will result in what you see. Either you upload a rectangle sized picture or you edit the container with CSS to fit a square image instead of rectangle container (that’s considered a customization).
Thanks
April 11, 2019 at 4:37 pm #480116Sorry Paolo … I may not have explained the best that I could have on point 1 … Point 2 makes complete sense and this is what I thought that it wouldnt resize if the shapes sized and dimensions were all over the place … which the clients has uploaded … they can now go in and change/edit/crop allllll the the ones that do not work with the 4:3 layout 🙂
Back to point 1 … as you can see from the pic i sent .. the first listing/place ( or in this case advisor ) on every page shows up in the header .. If I display:none for this … the persons name does not come on on their individual listing page because it uses the same div .. All advisor are equal so having another advisors name “up in lights” as my client has put it … outs his services ( the the visitors eyes ) above everyone else’s …Does that make a bit more sense ? I just need that gone ( the header text ) on these pages. It did not show up like this in your previous build.
Cheers and thank you once again – Brandon
April 11, 2019 at 4:49 pm #480120It is a lot clearer now, thanks.
The page title shouldn’t be the title of the 1st listing, so that’s definitely a bug with that theme or a wrong configuration.
If you provide admin credentials we’ll get to the bottom of it.
