    Hi,

I have installed the Codestyling localization file to edit the language file (in the GD core plugin) and I was successful in changing everything I wanted except for the word ‘region’ in the add listing area.

I have also tried to change ‘region’ in the multi-location plugin. If I open the plugin it shows that it would be translated as (State).

    1. What am I doing wrong?
    2. How do I avoid losing all these changes when I do an update?

    Thanks,

    Hello,
please copy the .po and .mo files outside the plugin folder (from /geodirectory/geodirectory-languages/ to /wp-content/languages/geodirectory (create the folders), and use an external editor (e.g. PoEdit).
In this way you’ll also keep your strings preserved when you’ll update.

    follow the step-by-step tutorial here

WP admin > GD > Place Settings (or other CTP) > Custom Fields > Field: Address > Region label

Simone – Thank you, I’ll do that
Guust – Thanks, I thought I saw this and changed it before, but I couldn’t find
    it.
