Only allow using existing tags

    Is there a way to only allow using existing tags (created by admin)?

    and by way of followup – make that list available in the Add Listing page. checkboxes or dropdown

    I don’t want to hide it, just not allow casual user to create them and to make sure search results based on tags (using Search and Filter) is manageable and consistent

    I figured it might be a bit much.

    how about using checkboxes for selecting categories/subcategories when adding a listing and/or similar to how they can be displayed with widget GD > CPT Listings

    I’m going to have a lot of categories and the dropdown isn’t practical

    Hi,

    you can do that in GD >> Place settings >> category and change from ajax select to checkbox.
