Please Help! I have a few problems after loading over 8000 places. On the homepage, the whole map shows instead of zooming to my location. I have also set the widget to auto zoom and still nothing happens.

When I change my location to Edmonton, I get a message no records are found when that is not true at all, there are plenty of records in Edmonton.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

the map in home page works normally because you ahve the everywhere location set as default.

I’d need to have a look at the back end to tell you why in Edmont places are not showing.

Could you send wp admin credentials in a private reply?

    Thx

    Hi,

we have been looking into it and it’s really strange. We can’t find an error in the back end either so we need to debug this properly.

Could you provide FTP and DB access? (phpmyadmin or cpanel)

Stiofan will look into it and report asap.

    Thx

    HI michless,

I am pretty sure this has something to do with the bespoke godaddy wordpress install, we had another user who had the same thing and it was also causing strange problems. If it’s possible can you pass you godaddy login so i can see if there is anything obvious?

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Thanks for the info!

I am reasonably certain that this is caused by the aggressive caching by the godaddy hosting. Another user had to change from this before also.

Is there a way you can be transferred to normal wordpress install?

How would I go about doing that or what do I need to request? I usually host with bluehost so I’m not familiar with GoDaddy and what they do.

Thanks so much for trying to figure this out.

I’d try asking them if you can move from the wordpress managed solution to a regular hosting solution where you can install wordpress and manage it yourself.

Or move back to bluehost that is an excellent provider…

    Thanks

    Hi Michelle,

Your site still had the default godaddy setting in the admin bar, are you sure this has been migrated?

You also had city and regions disabled so you could not change location.

    Please advise about hosting.

I have removed the godaddy settings and no change. I also played around with the settings with regions enabled and disabled and still cannot get anything to show up!

Is there a way to export all the places into a csv file so I can easily do a clean install?
