GMap-Location

Same issue here:
1.http://www.supremecityguides.com/location/united-states/new-york/new-york-city/

2. Have a major problem I did not see until I added the New York City. I see that the CPT I created for Events (Miami Upcoming Events) also displays under New York City!

Q1) Is there a way that only the Miami Upcoming Events display in the Miami location-not in other locations?

Is this what you were telling me about pages vs listings? If it is, my apologies, I just didn’t see it…

1. The problem in that the location that is displayed is Gainesville, Florida not New York City. The Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York is in New York City not Gainesville, Florida.

2. If you select any location e.g. New York City> http://www.supremecityguides.com/location/united-states/new-york/new-york-city/
the same Miami Events display.

3. Kind of like the Popular widget you did! but I observe that there is (1) restaurant under Popular Categories but none under the CPT Places….

1. I will have to read on this subject, I remember a video where it says to move the marker if the location is not right…

2. I add the Popular Categories widget-see http://www.supremecityguides.com/location/united-states/new-york/new-york-city/
but still when you select any of the Popular Events e.g. Fashion Events it takes you to the Miami Fashion Events. Is this because I have not added any Events in New York?

I thought I new what to do but I’m still stuck.
I re-did the Events CPT and Categories but
1. The Events of Chicago still show in Miami>http://www.supremecityguides.com/location/united-states/florida/miami/
2. The Events of Miami still show in Chicago> http://www.supremecityguides.com/location/united-states/illinois/chicago/

The other CPTs ( Places, Biz & Pro and Real Estate) are fine. Only the Listings of that location show but I can’t get the Events to do the same….

What am I doing wrong in the set-up of the Event CPT categories and/or when adding an Event??// I’ve spent about 2 hours trying to do this and can’t????/

THanks for the reply…
I spent several hours trying to figure it out…. went out for a walk and it hit me then that this could be the problem.

Q1) When I add en Event there is no address section? Why>
I see there is when I add any other CPT Listing…but not for Events

Q2) Can this be corrected?

The only thing I remember was asking for the address of the event not to display & you instructed me to add the following code to Custom style css code
single-gd_events .sd-map-in-sidebar-detail {
display: none;}

I just deleted the above code and went to add an event but the address does not display.

Q1) Was this it?
Q2) What do I need to do?
