As soon as I activate the plugin my entire website goes blank except for the header. Hoping this is an easy fix.

    Hi,

would you please provide a link and wp admin credentials in a private reply?

Normally that’s due to a php error, do you have an error log in your server? If yes, can you give us the url to have a look at it too?

    Thx

    Hi,

I see this is a live site, don’t you have a staging website to do testing before installing a new plugin in the production website?

I’d also need access to an error log as asked, if you could pass us FTP credentials we will be able to find it ourself.

    Thx

    Hi,

that FTP users doesn’t have access to wp-content?

I can’t access the plugins folder.

I would really prefer to working on a staging website though. WordPress themes and plugins are written by different developers and there can be conflicts.

Trying to fix errors on a website that people are visiting, is like trying to fix a bycicle while riding it… Could lead to disasters.

    Let us know,

    Thx

    Hi Anthony,

thanks for this, I’d need FTP credentials to access the wp-content/ themes and plugins folders.

    Thanks

Mine did the same. I uploaded updates via FTP, then had to restore the database for the site to load.

    Hi,

I was able to access the website via FTP, but no longer wp-admin.

    Now I keep getting:

    Database Update Required

WordPress has been updated! Before we send you on your way, we have to update your database to the newest version.

The update process may take a little while, so please be patient.

    Update WordPress Database

When I click update, a blank message appear and when I try to go to wp admin, I get the above message again.

I think the server isn’t setup properly. Probably a module or 2 are not installed, reason why the plugin would throw an error when activating.

I’m just guessing, because I haven’t been able to proceed.

    Let me know,

    Thx
