Open graph meta tags for facebook shares?

Hello,

I have sliders on various pages (sometimes more than one!), and facebook selects one of these slider images when doing a facebook share – not appropriate when I want to share MY page and not an image from another website! (I’m not talking about listing page shares, which work ok – but other static pages, including gdhome)

I think facebook Open Graph Meta Tags seem to be the way for me have FB select an image that I choose (I’ll probably take a page screenshot) – but I was wondering IF/HOW/WHERE I can include the meta tags given the way gd creates pages from templates?

Is this anything you can advise on?

To confuse matters, I have just noticed wordpress pages have an option to Set Featured Image and wonder if this might be way to go.

I am using GDF Modern child and Jetpack Sharing to get the social share buttons (but haven’t managed to get a social share button on the gdhome as yet, which is frustrating!)
