Hello,
I accidentally deleted my virtual pages that allowed my maps to work. It was clearly broken, so I uninstalled GeoDirectory entirely and deleted all my places (on purpose). I re-installed GeoDirectory and started fresh.
The map “set default location” however shows up as half ocean and half map. I can’t use the map. I see that I need to download the multi locations add-on one more time.
I have already paid for it once, however, and it looks like they are asking me to pay for another subscription. Can I get my multi locations add-on back without going through the payment process again?
Thank you,
southbaycompass.comOctober 12, 2014 at 7:22 pm #18124Hi,
you are a member, you can download the addons as many times as you want.
Just go here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/members/bzzaragoza/downloads/
and download : Geodir Location Manager
Let us know,
Thx
October 12, 2014 at 7:24 pm #18125BTW, if you ever delete your virtual pages again by mistake, here is a tutorial to reset them without having to reinstall everything:

Thx
October 12, 2014 at 8:16 pm #18131I don’t see the Multilocation download, though. Which one is it?
October 12, 2014 at 8:17 pm #18132Sorry. I see you told me already: Geodir Location Manager.
October 12, 2014 at 8:33 pm #18135Unfortunately, I don’t see how to create a child directory in my WordPress and when I go into my Canvas theme and add the code to the Editor– admin_function.php, I get massive errors.
I downloaded Geodir Location Manager into my plugins. I’m still getting the same exact problem. The MultiLocations, Add/Edit Location still shows half of the map as ocean, half as the map. When I type in a city/region/country/Set City the map is still broken.
Help!
October 12, 2014 at 8:36 pm #18137Hi,
I’m not sure what you are trying to do, but from the URL you provided, it appears that nothing is setup correctly.
Can you please provide wp admin credentials?
Thx

The draft listing did not have a category.
Your default ICON was a large beach photo, so that is why you had half of the map showing as the sea (that was your “icon”).Creating a child theme is explained here:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
It is a must if you ever want to update your theme without losing any customizations.October 12, 2014 at 10:32 pm #18149Ok. I typed in two places. When you go to the website now, click on one of the places, then click on Map. It is entirely blank. No map. I flushed my cache, reset my browser (Safari), logged out and logged back in to refresh everything. Still no map.
October 12, 2014 at 11:27 pm #18150You had hidden all listings from the map at GD > design > map
October 13, 2014 at 4:58 am #18157Ok. Everything seemed to work as I was inputting new places. The only problem was that when I Viewed the new place, the map on the sidebar showed an icon and the zoom so extremely close that the map was useless unless my user played with the zoom or map controls. (Is there a way to create a default for the map?)
You’ll see, however, that after 8 entries, the inputting of the map function stopped working.
This map says: “No Records Found”
http://southbaycompass.com/places/united-states/california/chula-vista/farmers-market-third-avenue/#post_mapWhen I entered this Place and saved, the address I typed in suddenly disappeared. When I re-typed the address, saved and went to the place, the map only shows blue: http://southbaycompass.com/places/farmersmarkets/chula-vista-otay-ranch-certified-farmers-market/#post_map
October 13, 2014 at 5:00 am #18158Sorry, forget the 1st comment about the map on the sidebar. I just found that in widgets.
October 13, 2014 at 5:29 am #18163The problem with the first url is that the listing does not have a category.
The second problem, I can’t figure out for the moment without turning off the other plugins one by one. Also, I am only using a tablet for the moment, so I might have another look when I am back at a computer.
Also, your Google analytics make no sense, have a look here:
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/core-general/#analyticsOctober 13, 2014 at 9:55 am #18172Your Multilocation manager needs updating.
Also, there is a plugin that is asking my location while in admin, which suggests there is a conflicting plugin.
You have edited the virtual pages it seems, so they no longer work:
http://southbaycompass.com/add-listing/
http://southbaycompass.com/location/So, please update the location manager, and restore your virtual pages, using the functions.php of your (child) theme – not any other file.
If that does not fix things, you will have to turn off your plugins one by one to find the conflict. -
